2 day kite surfing beginner lessons

Description

Learn to kite surf in Nusa Dua, Bali. This is a vigorous 2 day program with 2 hours instruction each day. You will first learn to control the kite on land before going into the water for your first ride.

Level 1 - IKO Discovery Kiteboarder Program on land
Level 1 is the beginning of your venture into the extreme sport of kite surfing. By the end of this program, you will be ready to move to the next step: getting up on the board! The first part of this program will take you through the steps of piloting a 2 or 4 lines kite, and body dragging in the water You will also learn about safety and how important it is to the sport. Furthermore, you will be taken through the steps of equipment set up, launching and landing.

Level 2 - IKO Intermediate Kiteboarder Program on water
By the end of the intermediate program, you will be able to get up on the board for your first ride. During the course, you will improve your kite piloting with power, one hand kite piloting, body dragging unhooked and hooked to your harness. Perfect for those who wish to practice a few times per year and rent equipment during holidays.

What is Kite Surfing?
Kite Surfing or Kite Boarding is an extreme water sport where the kitesurfer stands on a board with footstraps and uses a large kite to propel oneself along the water. The kiteboarder has to learn to control both the board and the kite at the same time.

Kite surfing is a physically demanding sport and requires strength and a high fitness level. You may take these lessons on 2 consecutive days if you are very fit. If you have more time in Bali, it is a good idea to have a 1 or 2 day break inbetween lessons.
