Bali cooking is a creative process that is simple and a lot of fun. In Anika Bali Cooking Class, you will learn the techniques and become familiar with the fresh herbs, spices, and other ingredients that make Balinese food delightfully tasty as well as nutritious and cleansing. Over the day you will explore different ways to blend and balance the varied flavors to create a stimulating array of unique tastes.

Market visit to learn about the ingredients used
The morning class begins at 7 am. You will spend about an hour at the Kuta traditional Market where purchases for the class will made. At the same time, you will learn about traditional herbs and spices as well as local culture. Upon returning to Anika Guesthouse, you will enjoy traditional breakfast dishes and snacks. Before practical session, the instructor will explain details of every traditional ingredient that will be used for cooking Balinese dishes after which you will embark on a culinary adventure using traditional techniques and utensils.
With the assistance of professional cooking teachers, you will prepare a complete menu based on Balinese recipes- nine main dishes and 1 dessert, during the 7 hour hands-on cooking class which is conducted in English, followed by lunch based on the prepared dishes and accompanied by traditional drinks (Hibiscus Tea and Balinese Rice Wine).
