Description

Learn to surf in Bali with the Rip Curl School of Surf. There are 3 levels in this Beginner Course that stretch over 7 1/2 hours.

At beginner level, the Rip Curl School of Surf provides an introduction to surfing, with three initial courses to cover the key basic skills and surf safety. Course One takes you through the basics of board handling and the jump up and at the end of it you'll be riding your first wave.

Moving forward, Courses Two and Three offer a more complete introduction to the sport of surfing. Learn about paddling, knowing waves, sets and lulls. Course three takes you through your first forehand and backhand turns and the art of gathering speed.

Inclusions

• Air-conditioned transfers from all major hotels in the South Bali and Sanur area.
• Modern surfing equipment Malibu surfboards, (9.0ft, 8.0ft, 6.6ft) assorted fiberglass boards, all with leg ropes.
• Surf helmets, rash shirts, surf shorts and towels
• Showering and changing facilities.
• Sunscreen and First Aid kit are available upon request or necessitate.
• Instructors accredited Instructors and Bronze Medallion Certified Lifeguards.
• Assistants trained Indonesian Surf School Association standards.
• Lessons conducted in English or Indonesian.
• Sealed drinking water during the entire lesson.

More Information

The best months for surfing would be June, July and August.

Time of Lessons

• 8am – 10.30am,  10.30am – 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 4.30pm

Pick up times

• Nusa Dua, Tanah Lot and Sanur pick up times would be one hour before the scheduled course time.
• Jimbaran pick up times would be 45 minutes before scheduled course time.
• Kuta, Legian and Seminyak pick up times would be 45 to 30 minutes before the scheduled course time.
