Description

Experience Bali in a different way on a horse on a 2 hour horse ride. Start at the seaside village of Yeh Gangga, just west of most one of Bali's most sacred places, Tanah Lot. The scenery is beautiful in this peaceful village, where gently sloping rice terraces border the sparkling black sand beaches. Rice farming, fishing and sea salt harvesting are the traditional way of life here.


2 hour village ride
On this 2 hour horse ride you will ride along Yeh Gangga Beach, visit a waterfall (weather permitting), stop at a Bat Cave and ride through a local village where you will see Balinese going about their daily activities. At the Bat Cave, a short climb up a hill where there is a small temple will give you a great view of the coastline and surrounding padi fields. You will cross a river but not to worry, the guides will hold your shoes for you!

Wear long pants and comfortable shoes. Bring your camera and sunscreen.

You may bring a spare pair of shorts or pants in case the water in the river is high on the day of your ride. Towels are available.
