The Ayana Resort and Spa has welcomed its first guests following its re-branding, with a new management team representing the world’s top hoteliers, and a fresh image imbedded in Bali’s mystical culture.

The new Ayana Resort, Ayana being a Sanskrit word meaning ‘place of refuge‘ has a new blue logo, fresh new uniforms, new General Manager and a renovation in progress.

The new Ayana Resort and Spa, formerly the Ritz-Carlton Bali Resort and Spa, began operation under its new name and management on 1st April 2009. The hotel is managed by the West Paces Hotel Group, founded by Horst Schultz, a former president of the Ritz Carlton Group and founding member of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Therefore guests can expect the highest of service standards with the new management.

Renovations are underway to improve the rooms and dining venues. Padi restaurant will also have new Indonesian and Indian cuisine added to complement its Thai menu. A new Rock Bar is being built over the water at the base of the cliff  giving guests an unobstructed viewpoint for enjoying cocktails on the beach.
