Diving in Bali

The coral reefs along Bali’s coast abound in marine life and beautiful tropical fish which make it a popular destination for keen divers. All around Bali are dives sites offering a rich diversity of marine life. Lovina, Menjangan Island, Sanur, Padang Bai, Nusa Lembongan and Amed are just some of the more visited areas.

At Menjangan Island which is on the North West coast of Bali, you will see barracudas, turtles, and white tip reef sharks. There is also a wreck of a 150 yr old boat for those who want to venture deeper.

The famous USS Liberty wreck is located on the North East coast of Bali at Tulamben where the ship lies off the beach. Amed also on the North east coast consists of coastal reef flats, slopes and walls.

More accessible areas would be Lovina in the North and Sanur, closer to the airport and West cost towns of Kuta, Seminyak and Legian if you are staying there.
