SPA TREATMENTS
A delicious selection of tasty spa treatments is on the menu at many of the top spas in Bali. Treatments that incorporate sensuous oils, chocolate and wine will not only make you feel pampered but set the mood for any other romantic activities on your honeymoon.

Royal Bliss Ritual for Couples at Kayumanis Nusa Dua
This is the signature treatment from the Kayumanis Nusa Dua Private Villa. Drawing inspiration from the nurturing properties of grapes and naturally sourced ingredients, this pampering experience evokes the feeling of inner calm. A leisurely soak in a flower bath infused with sparkling wine at the end of the ritual is a great way to start a romantic evening on your honeymoon.

Start with a steam and sauna, then a Royal Foot Bath followed by 75 minutes of body massage using grapeseed oil.   Enjoy a luxurious cream bath followed by a body scrub and finally sit in a floral bath or sparkling wine.  You’ll be served a light menu at the end and receive a Royal Bliss gift.

Chocolate Indulgence at Kayumanis Jimbaran
This is an exlusive treatment located at the Kayumanis Jimbaran Private Villas. It is a lavish three hour treatment inspired of course by the delicious taste and therapeutic benefits of chocolate. It detoxifies the skin from harmful impurities, greatly enhancing the natural elasticity and thoroughly moisturizes for a radiant glow to look your best on your honeymoon.

Sink into a comfortable chair while you are relaxed with an aromatherapy foot wash. Then proceed to the massage room where a balancing massage will relax your body muscles. After your massage, a Chocolate Body Scrub is followed by a Rich Chocolate Wrap to give you that radiant glow. Switch to a Kayumanis facial and finally sit in a Hot chocolate Bath to complete your Chocolate Indulgence.  A delicious Hot Chocolate beverage is served at the end.

Spa and High Tea at the Lembah Spa in Ubud
If you plan to stay in Ubud which is a must if you want to experience the charm of Bali, you could consider an afternoon at the exclusive Viceroy Bali.  You will get beautiful views of the Petanu River Valley from the Lembah Spa, one of the best in Bali. Private Spa Program at the Kirana Spa
The Kirana Spa is a luxury spa located in the Ubud hills.  They have 2 types of treatments which they call “Treatment Program” and “Spa Program“.  The difference is that in the Spa Program, which is carried out in the Suite Villas or Presidential villas, you have an extra 60 minutes of private spa time in these villas to make use of the facilities there such as the jacuzzi, steam sauna,  and private pool.  In the regular Treatment Program, you will have access to the Spa Garden which is an exclusive relaxing area for guests. The Spa Garden has 2 swimming pools, dressing rooms, a herbal steam sauna and jacuzzi.

A 3 hour program at the Kirana Spa starts with a 20 minute cleansing foot bath followed by 100 minutes of treatment time and 60 minutes of spa time. You can choose from a menu of treatments which include a variety of massages, facials and foot and leg treatments.  The Spa Program is ideal as a honeymoon spa treatment as you will have private time together in a villa on your own.

ROMANTIC PICNICS ON YOUR HONEYMOON

Aphrodisiac Picnic in Bed
Get playful in bed and enjoy a gourmet picnic at the same time – on a beach – illuminated by oil lanterns under the moonlit sky.  This romantic Picnic Dinner on Canggu beach ends with mouth watering desserts and 2 blindfolds to accompany your eating pleasures.  This must be one of the most unique activities you could do on your honeymoon in Bali so give it a go.  Choose from a seafood, beef, italian or vegetarian menu. Buahan Village is the perfect venue if you are seeking a moment of peace and tranquility to discover the heart of rural Bali. It is a scenic 45-minute drive through traditional Balinese villages and rice paddies, to a secluded private picnic grove, a nature hideaway offering excellent views of the mountain ranges of Abang, Batukaru, Puncak Bedugul, and Puncak Mangu and of the dense tropical forests of the Ayung River below.

This is a unique package to the Bali Elephant Safari in Taro, near Ubud. Watch a magical Elephant Talent Show and go on a half hour elephant trek along a specially designed night trail through the cool forest of Taro and end with a 4 course dinner at the park’s Pachyderm Palm Grove by a lake.

Horseriding in Canggu
This could be a romantic thing to do on your honeymoon. Do this activity in the evening and ride along the black volcanic sand beaches of Canggu and watch the romantic sunset. Explore the local villages and ride along tracks through the padi fields. Private Cooking Class An Indonesian cooking class could be romantic and fun if there are only 2 of you attending instead of a large group of other people. Several hotels offer private cooking classes for 2 taught by their head chefs. However we would highly recommend the private Balinese cooking class at Hotel Tugu in Canggu. Held in a 9th century Majapahit-era traditional open-air kitchen and dining hut, the cooking class is conducted by expert Indonesian chef Ibu (Madam) Soelastri. Together with her assistants, she will show, demonstrate, and at the same time, teach you, step-by-step, the unique, non-sophisticated, and traditional Indonesian cooking method.
