You can choose either type of the camera for photography but before you leave for the trip along with your camera, you must get aware of certain basic elements of photography as well as the equipment you are going to use.
Once you have fully researched your destination, selected your camera and got well aware about its functions too, the very next step is to know how to enhance the quality of your photographs following a few of the subsequent tips:
1) In order to avoid a blurry image, hold the camera very steady while capturing a photograph or use any kind of support if you have shaky hands. Although you can get advantage of image sharpening programs which may improve the sharpness of the photo but it won’t work for a plain blur image.
2) When you are to capture an image of a human being, prefer taking picture in a cloudy weather, in a shade or in subdued lightning conditions. Because in such situations the eye pupil of the person opens widely than in bright sunlight consequently resulting in a better snapshot.
3) When you are photographing people, don’t ignore the background of the image. Background should always go in context with the people at the foreground by enhancing the picture quality rather than causing a distracting effect.
4) To capture a sharp photograph of a fast moving animal you must set your camera’s frame on to the highest frame-per-second rate possible.
5) If you are a sunset or sunrise lover, you will definitely go for capturing these magical scenes. For being at right time, browse the internet to know the exact timing of sunrise and sunset and set your program accordingly. To make the photograph more pleasant and dramatic avoid keeping the horizon line in center while setting the frame. Set the frame in such a way that it lies some where at top or bottom of the frame avoiding the center.
At the end of your trip don't forget to make a memorable travel journal consisting off all those interesting snapshots along with a little caption at least. You can maintain this journal either by manually or digitally. A number of excellent freeware as well as shareware software’s are available online which let you organize your photographs by adding a title to each.
